Here is a short guide with pictures. I do realize that it may change after alpha, but hopefully it will help now.
Tab 1
This is to upgrade, change, or enhance your equipment. You need 1 piece equipment, 1 crystal and 1 gem. Higher the level better the results.
Put the item you want fixed in the top box.
Put a gem in the left box and a crystal in the right one.
Press Start
and Presto
Notice that the healing went from 2.5% to 3.3%
Tab 2
This tab is used to make 6 level 1 gems into 1 level 2 gem, or 6 level 2 into 1 level 3, etc. You must use the same color and type gem.
When you click start, you get the item tossed into your bag.
Tab 3
In this system, you can change any equipment into better stuff without gems or crystals. It is by far the easiest way to get upgrades.
Pick up anything with a green bonus on the bottom and keep for this process.
To start, put the item you want to upgrade into the top box.
Then put in HIGHER level armor and weapons in the lower box. Note: You can put in items you can not personally equip, such as a sword if you are a priest.
Press start.
And Presto!
Gems and what they do:
Green ones are emeralds. They put more bonus stats on the bottom of equipment.
Blue ones are sapphires. They change the name at the top from Common, to Enhanced, to Delicate, etc.
Red ones are rubies. They change the level of the item (ex. you have a cool lvl 40 weapon and just turned lvl 50. You cant find a cool lvl 50 weapon. Use it to change it to a lvl 50 weapon and the attack power will change to be compatable with the lvl 50 common stats, just will keep the bonuses. Fail rate is high on these.
Side note, the use of forging will cost money from your pocket, so if you get some sort of error, you may just not have enough money to cover the conversion.
How do I glow??
You need grade 3-4 on item and Enhanced or above. Higher the name, the better the glow. Only the tip of weapon will glow if you get a delicate named or higher and only grade 1.

Great guide, but u dont need a crystal when u upgrade, only if u want an extra 2% chance. Save crystals for when its down to 5% chance, and use em in bulk (like 10-20 of em for one try) thats the best way to get something to grade 4 or 5 delicate. other than that good job |
