The God worship has changed a lot since Alpha I. I have talked with IGG for hours on end and all I get from them is "well this is only alpha". So for the time being, things will stay the same.
How to sacrifice is also different and more confusing, so I made this little picture guide.
Step 1. Go to the [Alter]Priest in Athens. If you do not know the way, under map there is a search button. Click it then click Guild Reg and it will walk you directly there. The Priest is on the left of you if you are facing the building.
Step 2. Talk to him. The first screen will look like this:
Click Alter
Step 3: 
I am unsure you have all the things that I have, but click this one I have highlighted. 
Step 4. Now we get more confusing. Pick the God in which we have (I am unsure as to if you have the entire list as I do as Leader). 
Step 5. This is the next page. Click the highlighted one.
Step 6. Now decide on your worship amount. You may not have enough to choose anything but the lowest amount--as we are a new guild.
