Guild quests allow the guild to have gold to spend on certain things:
Such things include leveling the guild to provide more slots to have more guild members, and to get God alters.
God alters provide extra stats to each player that makes a sacrifice to that god.
How it works:
Do a guild quest and it gives gold to guild. It also gives you as a player contribution points. You may have massive points, but until you spend or sacrifice them to the gods, you do not get the stats bonus.
Go to the God Alter in Athens and sacrifice to the god. The gods are chosen by the Leader. I will make sure there is a God for all to get some sort of bonus from. There may be one god at first, but as we level the guild, there will be many more. When you sacrifice, your contribution will lower on the roster, but you will have gained the bonus. You continue to do this for all gods and all levels that the god has. Each level provides more % of a bonus in stats.
God quests do not give experience other than the kill itself and TP points if you kill 100 mobs. However, if you get a quest to kill 100 wolves and you already have 1 to 2 other quests to kill wolves, make sure you have all quests before you go and kill the wolves, as the kill for one equals the kill for all quests. Guild quests are quick to do this way.
If you have a Guild quest to do a certain mob, state it in guild chat, as others in your level range may have the same thing. Team play gets these quests done faster and is more enjoyable to do. |
